Unified Alloys supplies pipe supports, hangers, and fasteners across four product areas — industrial spring supports and dynamic restraints for process piping, commercial clamps and hangers for HVAC and plumbing service, strut cushion clamps for multi-line vibration and noise control, and stainless steel fasteners across the ANSI standard range. The product mix runs from engineered MSS SP-58 standard supports through to standard hex cap screws, with stainless 304 and 316 as the default material across most lines.

Industrial Pipe Hangers

Engineered support solutions for process piping where thermal movement, dynamic loading, or vibration would defeat conventional rigid hangers. The range covers constant spring supports (constant load across the full travel range, used where pipe movement is significant and load must remain steady), variable spring supports (load varies with deflection, used in less critical service or where some load variation is acceptable), dynamic pipe restraints and snubbers (resist shock and seismic loading while allowing normal thermal movement), and pipe shoes (transfer load to support structure while accommodating insulation thickness, common in cryogenic and hot-service applications).

Unified Alloys is now a distributor of ASC (formerly Anvil) products, with the full range of MSS SP-58 standard type supports and special-design products for varied dynamic loading requirements. The ASC catalogue covers the engineered support range that most process projects specify against. See the Industrial Pipe Hangers page for product breakdowns and downloadable submittal documentation, or the ASC website for the full manufacturer catalogue.

Commercial Pipe Supports

Standard commercial pipe support hardware for HVAC, plumbing, and general building service. The stocking range covers two-bolt pipe clamps, three-bolt pipe clamps, riser clamps, swivel ring hangers, clevis hangers, and U-bolts — primarily in stainless steel 304 with 316 available for corrosive environments. Sized for the standard ANSI pipe range.

See the Commercial Pipe Supports page for individual product datasheets and dimensional information.

Strut Cushion Clamps

Channel-mounted clamping systems for multi-line runs where shock absorption, vibration damping, noise reduction, or galvanic isolation matters. The clamp body fits any standard 1-5/8″ wide strut channel and uses a controlled-squeeze shoulder stud design that eliminates over-tightening and rotation, with a nylon insert nut for positive lock.

The cushion is manufactured from a thermoplastic elastomer that handles most oils, chemicals, and industrial cleaning compounds across a temperature range of -50°F to 275°F. A living-hinge design allows the cushion to spread for installation, with interlock edges and channel locator legs holding it in place. Available in tube sizes from 1/4″ to 6-1/8″ and pipe sizes from 1/4″ to 6″. Steel with electro-dichromate finish or stainless steel construction. Special sizes available on request.

See the Strut Cushion Clamps page for the complete tube and pipe sizing reference.

Fasteners

Stainless steel fasteners across the standard ANSI range — hex cap screws and heavy hex cap screws (ANSI B18.2.1), hex nuts, heavy hex nuts and jam nuts (ANSI B18.2.2 and B18.22), socket head cap screws and set screws (ANSI/ASME B18.3), carriage bolts (ANSI B18.5), lag screws (ANSI B18.2.1), machine screws (ANSI B18.6.3), and spring lock washers (ANSI B18.21.1). Stocked primarily in stainless 304 and 316; specialty grades and finishes available on request.

See the Fasteners page for full dimensional references and standard size tables across each fastener type.

Specifying and Quoting

Pipe support specification depends on pipe size, load (static plus thermal and dynamic), service temperature, code requirements (MSS SP-58 is the standard reference for hanger and support types), and the supporting structure. Our technical sales team can help match support type to application, confirm stock and lead time, and quote against your bill of materials. For fasteners, confirm grade, head style, drive, length, and finish at the time of quote — standard configurations are stocked; specialty combinations are project-order.
