Unified Alloys was founded in Edmonton in 1976 to serve western Canada’s growing energy industry. The breadth of sectors we serve today — oil and gas, mining, municipal infrastructure, pulp and paper, marine, chemical processing, food production, and nuclear — reflects how the company has grown alongside the procurement needs of Canadian industry.
What has not changed is the fundamental model: deep inventory of stainless steel and corrosion-resistant alloy piping products, held in stock across our Canadian branches and available for rapid deployment. The procurement manager specifying for a refinery turnaround, the project engineer sourcing for a mine expansion, and the contractor building a municipal water treatment plant are all dealing with the same underlying problem — they need traceable, certified materials that match their process chemistry, on a timeline that does not allow for extended lead times.
